Seventeen exuberant fuguing-tunes, melancholy laments and sprightly dances from early New England Hymnbooks skillfully reworked by Alice Parker to echo the sounds of that day. Among those presented here are Almighty Maker God, Ye Boundless Realms of Joy, My Soul Triumphant in the Lord, Hear Me O Lord nor Hide Thy Face, and Brethren We Have Met to Worship.
